STOVETOP MOKA POT TRADITIONAL BREW METHOD
- Bring a kettle of water to the boil
- Measure and grind enough beans depending on the size of your Moka Pot, using the above brew ratios. This should be enough to fill the filter basket
- Add the heated water to the brewer bottom and fill to just below the pressure valve
- Fill the filter basket with ground coffee, there should be enough to fill basket, do not compress. Brush away any loose grounds on the edge of the filter basket
- Insert the filter basket into the brewer bottom
- Screw the top and bottom of your brewer together. Don’t over-tighten
- Put the brewer on the stove using a moderate heat. Making sure the handle is not subject to heat
- The coffee will begin drawing up the funnel, filling the top brewer section and you will hear a puffing sound. Once the coffee stops flowing into the upper part of your brewer, remove from heat
- Pour and enjoy
