TRADITIONAL AEROPRESS BREW METHOD
- Measure and grind 15 grams of beans (one rounded Aeropress Scoop or about 2 tablespoons)
- Get the Aeropress ready to brew by placing the filter in the basket. Next preheat your brewer and rinse the filter with hot water. Heat your mug at the same time
- Discard the water from your mug. Affix the basket to the bottom of the brew chamber and put on top of mug. Pour the 15 grams of ground coffee into brew chamber
- Start your timer when you start to pour hot water (94°C) into your brewer. Saturate all the grounds within 10 seconds. Pour to the No. 4 on your Aeropress; spin the chamber as you pour making sure all coffee is saturated, then stir the “slurry” (coffee and water mixture) with Aeropress paddle or spoon and place the plunger on the brew chamber, make sure it seals but don’t plunge yet
- Steep for two minutes. Plunge into your cup. Plunge should take 15-30 seconds. Plunge all the way down until you cant anymore. This should yield about 220 ml of delicious brewed coffee
